And this happens to be one of those times. I have finallyfinished going over the proofs (At home, on Sunday. I know, boo hoo an editor’s workis never done.) and found myself still being both entertained and educated as I read and re-read the pages even though this was probably the umpteenth time I have gone over thesearticles. Okay enough with the self-congratulatory rhetoric and let’s just get to the facts. This issue of Skin and Ink continues to bring you tattoo culture from around the globe andour first stop is London, England for the tenth annual London Tattoo Convention, definitelynot the oldest convention in Europe, but in the last decade it has certainly become one ofthe most important as a must attend and be seen at event. Next we visit the city of LamiaTown in Greece and stop in for a visit to Christos Galiropoulos ‘s shop Blackline Tattoo. HereChristos explains how he got to where he is today in Greece’s bourgeoning tattoo scene. We hit it back to the states and head out west to visit the only Vegan Tattoo shop in thecountry. However, it’s not just the uniqueness of being a vegan shop that makes Jorell’sMonocle Tattoo shop so special, it’s their commitment to a vegan lifestyle and superior tat-tooing talent roster. You can’t get a person who embodies the rebellious spirit of Americamore than “Jim”. Read the tale of a man and his ink from writer John Foscante and see histattoos documented by photographer GiGi Elmes in this one of a kind Skin and Ink profile.Back out west and we land in Los Angeles where Richard Edson gets us behind the scenesof Exploding Tattoo where ink literally comes to life in these living tableaus.Hey there’s lots more of what you have come to expect from every issue of Skin and Inkand its all here and all too much to list. Time to turn the page and get to the reasons whyyou bought this magazine in the first place. Thanks for your continued loyalty.Enjoy.PUBLISHERChristopher PerrettaEDITOR IN CHIEFPaul GambinoMANAGING EDITORDan TullisART DIRECTORStuart KobanCONTRIBUTING WRITERSNate Beavers, Dana Brunson,Jessica DeFeo, Mannie Pendexter,Sam Paul, Dr. Messina,Travelin’ Mick, John Foscante,Mike Bednarsky, Frank DeBlase,]Michael Nguyen, Amy Sciarretto,Bill WaytowichPHOTOGRAPHERSMary D’Aloisio, GiGi Elmes,Dan Howell, Richard Edson,Travelin’ Mick,Jenna Krazeck, Amber Mannon,Steve Prue, Evil EyeCOPY EDITORNancy McCaslinDIRECTOR OF PRODUCTIONEvan HonigPhone (201) 843-4004 x114Fax (201) 843-8775PRODUCTION MANAGERFulvio BritoADVERTISINGMarty Puntus(201) 843-4004 ext.113mpuntus@magnapublishing.comCIRCULATION DIRECTORTonyD@procirc.comCONTROLLERFred ZottEDITORIAL OFFICES210 Rt 4 East, Paramus, NJ 07652(201) 843-4004DISTRIBUTORCurtis Circulation Co.Skin&Ink (ISSN 1071-7684) Issue #156 April 2015.Published nine times a year by Magna Publications Group, Inc., inFeb, April, June, Aug, Oct, Dec.
